BRITISH COUNTRY MUSIC ASSOCIATION

The British Country Music Association (BCMA for short!) was formed 'way back in 1968. Members receive our attractive and informative bi-monthly BCMA Bulletin, giving up-to-the-minute news of what's happening on both the British and American country music scenes - details of tours, new record listings and reviews, festivals, concerts, magazines, radio, television and much more.

Members also currently receive, in the April of their subscription year, a free copy of our highly-praised and much sought-after BCMA Yearbook - a truly comprehensive "who's who" and "what's what" on the UK country scene. It lists clubs, bands, solo performers, instrumentalists, festivals, fan clubs, record companies, songwriters, radio programmes, agents, DJs, etc. etc. - in fact just about anything and everything to do with country music in the UK.

In addition, members are offered the exciting opportunity to visit the United States on one of our legendary value-for-money trips, visiting places like Nashville (of course!), Memphis, Texas, Arizona, Louisiana, Canada, Florida, Chicago, Kentucky, New York, Arkansas, Michigan, Virginia, South Carolina, North Carolina, California etc. etc. We've been running these annual trips since 1969. You name it, we've been there - well, almost!!!
BUT, and this is important,
In this, our 40th year, we've reluctantly decided to wind down the Association.
Our final BCMA Bulletin will be published in February 2009
which means that we are, sadly, no longer accepting membership applications.

However, we do have a limited supply of the 2008 BCMA Yearbook and these are available to
non-members, by sending a cheque for £3, payable to "BCMA", to:
