Country Cattin' was formed about 1999 with original members Dave Brown - Vocals/Rhythm Guitar, Paul Chambers - Double Bass, Nathan Young - Lead Guitar
Dave has always had a passion for the pure clean foot tapping sound of Country Rockabilly. The early Elvis, Johnny Cash, Johnny Horton, Buddy Holly, Hank Snow, Hank Williams to name just a few, he also loved the sound of a Double bass, when it's slapped it can replace the sound of a drum, so a project was born to recreate that type of sound. Dave's other passion is song writing which is why he loves country music because of the story telling within the songs. So he tries to combine these with Country Cattin'.
When you see Country Cattin' you'll see a band that really enjoy what there doing, they all have a passion for the music and love performing, giving covers there own style and filling in with a lot of self-written material. So check them out when you can, you won't be dissapointed.
Graham Clark's fans already know him as a singer/songwriter/guitarist and performer extraordinaire!
Having been on the pop/rock scene until the early '90's, Graham started to concentrate on composing; eventually teaming up with Bob Steelman to form the highly acclaimed duo Clark Steelman. Now working solo and with a four-piece band, Graham continues to make waves on the original music scene.
Jim Condie Although he first picked up a guitar at the age of 14, Jim didn't really decide to take himself seriously until the age of 29. He thought his big break had come when, in '81, two weeks after his 30th birthday, he got a gig backing Lena Zavaroni and Hercules the Bear. At this time, he formed a 'jazz fusion' group, Solaris , with one Peter-John Vettese , who since went on to play with and produce many of the biggest names in Rock and Pop music. McCartney, the Bee Gees, Cher and Foreigner spring to mind. Jim later stepped into a duo with Edinburgh legend Tam White. Between them, they built up a ten-piece Rhythm 'n' Blues band, The Dexters. The band was a hotbed of Scottish jazz talent. In '93, Jim proceeded to rise as a Phoenix from the ashes of the Rootsies Duo, this time as sideman/ agent, importing American and Canadian performers, booking and arranging their tours and providing the musical backing into the bargain
Since the beginning of 2002, a dramatic career redirection has taken place for Jim. He intends to start promoting his own career and his new CD 'Distant Cousins'.His solo career has also done quite well in the past year, and the next few months are looking pretty busy, especially in the South of England, where promoters are inclined to give him a bit more respect.

Country Dave and Friends is a group of disparate musicians who all share a love for a similar vein of music, Country, Alternative Country, Mississippi Country Blues, Rockabilly and American Roots Music. Our Gigs are kind like the old American medicine shows where many of us play all together then each highlights their own style. We rarely all get together at the same time because there are about 15 of us who all have other gigs and day jobs. The Hub is Countrydave , Isaac, Andy and Alex, With mainstay players Graham on standup bass Kieran on Lead guitar, Penny on fiddle.
Wayne Corr , a 40 year old country music junkie, who dreams of one day singing in Nashville on the stage of the Grand Old Opry, started singing at the age of 16 when he joined his father and uncle’s band the Corr Bro's.! His latest CD Refried Dreams is a mixture of my favourite songs, from the old traditional to the upbeat modern, from George Jones to Travis Tritt with the BR5-49 in-between.
His music suites all ages of country music lovers.

I have three bands that I work with plus a gig coming up in July with Hank Williams Daughter Jett, but nothing permanent and still lots of dates to fill!!
I used to have my own band "Wildwood" and had the good fortune to work with a Mr. Kit Morgan, in my opinion one of the best guitar players in the world. Did some recording in between with Jeannie Sinclair and Stateside plus numerous Jed Ford concerts and festivals, working with artists like Dave Dudley, Stonewall Jackson, Ferlin Husky and Bobby Bare. I then went off to the States and Canada and played with all kinds of bands from Nashville to Vancouver. I have had the good fortune to work with so many excellent bands - such as Chapperal, Nichols and Dimes, Kentucky Gold, Pinkertons Colours and Jon Derricks Country Fever to name just a few. Anyway, having worn my picks out, right up to the knuckle I thought my playing days were over, so I packed up (for seven years) and started a new family. Started back about Feb 2003 doing a few dep jobs for my good friend Micky Byrne.
DELTA comprises of Grainger and Naomi. Grainger writes the majority of songs and Naomi sings the majority of the material. They perform as an acoustic duo and also with the Delta Band. They have known each other since Naomi walked into Graingers class aged 7. They live in Brierley Hill, which is sandwiched in between Stourbridge and Dudley in the Black Country, West Midlands. Their music is a rich blend of acoustic/indie/country/soul
Denver Spur If you have booked "Denver Spur" just to see fresh faces, you are 23 years too late. That is how long it is since their latest member, renowned guitarist Paul Thomas joined the band. "The Spur", as they are affectionately known by other musicians in their home county of Somerset, U.K. have been a prominent part of the music. It is their knack of knowing which old standards to stay with, and what sort of new stuff to bring in. Perhaps the kind of thing the band likes, is also the kind of material that today's country music people like, whether they want to dance, line-dance or simply sit and listen.
John Dean from Harrogate

Natalie Diamond is one of five daughters born in Burton on Trent, but due to her Father's Naval career she found herself living in many parts of the UK. Growing up she showed keen interests in gymnastics and music. Her musical ability gained her a much prized position as violinist with The Gosport Orchestra but her real love was in country music. In her 20's, Natalie emigrated to Canada where she began to do something about her other passion which is song writing. She wrote for two Canadian bands and her music was well received by their audiences.
Since settling back in England she has made real headway on the country circuit, performing mostly around the Midlands area, but now beginning to spread her wings further a field . The response from the UK circuit has been far in excess of her wildest dreams and they really seem to have taken her to their heart with “standing ovations” a regular occurrence. She now plays guitar in the show and is currently working hard to introduce the fiddle to some of her songs. Her dress on stage is impeccable spending what ever it takes to look the part ..and she does !
Her main influences have been Lorrie Morgan, Reba and Tanya Tucker and performs some of their songs in her show with the same vigour and passion of a true professional.
At present, Natalie has four album releases and is presently working on a new one, of all original songs, that is due for release late 2005.

Lucie has spent several years as a sought-after session singer - appearing on albums and singles as backing vocalist and duets. She began her debut solo album 'Sweet Medicine' in Spring 2002 and has cut 15 tracks so far.
Lucie has two tracks on the double compilation CD 'Strictly Country' due out in July - featuring American country legends such as Dolly Parton; Tammy Wynette; Kenny Rogers; Johnny Cash; Willie Nelson and George Jones. She is also featured as the image on the CD's cover.
Negotiations are under way for two tracks from Lucie's debut solo album to feature on two new movies due out next year.

Doggone Country Band was formed in 2005. Doggone is a collection of "Musical Misfits" between the ages of 19 and 55, with one thing in common,We love the music we play ....and we play it , 'cause we love it.

True, some of us have actually played in Texas at Ginny's and at the Broken Spoke, we all toured Germany and some of us have played the same stage as Dale Watson and BR549, ....and one of us even shook hands with Johnny Cash at the tender age of three.
However, what truly defines Doggone, is the uncompromising love of country music and the desire to go out and have a damn good time whenever we're getting on that stage...or floor...or grass...or street corner...or whatever is available to us.
You may know some of our songs, you may not. We don't align our show to the latest charts or most up to date dances. We do however pick the songs that get us moving, and sometimes, maybe even thinking a little about ourselves and the world around us. No other style of music does this better than Country.
And we love to watch you all dance, be it the 2-Step, a Walz, Line Dance or whatever your limbs make you do..............don't categorise, JUST DANCE!

Rusty Douche Stalwart is the word often used, it is another way of saying he has been in the business a long time. Well Rusty Douch has been in the business a long time, so he must be a stalwart. Starting in the sixties in pop music and recording six singles, three with Polydor Records and three with EMI Records and singing on the same bill with bands such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who and backing Roy Orbison, to name just a few, but always with a preference for country music, having listened to the likes of Hank Williams, Hank Snow, Buck Owens and many more from that era. Rusty has been a solo artist now for about fifteen years, winning several awards over the years and many friends along the way, doing many tours of the clubs from Devon and Cornwall, the Midlands and the North and the North East of Britain. As Rusty said, that is the place to learn your craft as a stage act. With the advent of Line and Western Dancing, Rusty changed a lot of his material to suit the Line Dancers but still does many evenings singing what he calls "older" country music for the audiences who are not into the Line Dancing.

The Ely Plains - Not too long ago five guys were drawn together by a mutual love of the music and myths of the canyon, the cotton fields and the dustbowl, the jangle of the west coast, the buzz of the village and what some folks call Americana. With that in mind they wrote some songs mixing together the sounds and tones they love so much and so the Ely (pronounced E-lie) Plains were born.
The Everlys Experience Starring Colin Fidoe & Geoff Bate as Don & Phil Everly Both Colin and Geoff have been playing and singing in various bands since their early teens, and have been together for the past three years as a full-time professional duo known as “EASY-RIDER”, working on the country/line dance scene in the UK and in Europe. The Everlys Experience is a totally separate venture, and since its launch on 1 November 2000 at the Midlands Tribute & Look-Alike Awards Ceremony, which attracted wide media coverage from TV, radio and press, they have acquired bookings not only as a superb self-contained duo, but also on occasion with a full band, at a variety of venues, from festivals and theme weekends, to cabaret and theatre.
The Fat River Band - A British country band that succeeds on every level
British country band Fat Cat comprise Lionel Browne, Andy Iddiols, Slim Pickins and Phil McNaughton and between them they play pedal steel, Dobro, fiddle and guitar. When their talents are merged they create such a sublime sound that you thank the country music Gods for allowing a band like this to exist.
There are eleven self-penned tracks here. Broken Heart uses duel harmonies extensively and the quality is reminiscent of the Eagles. Slim’s pedal steel is quiet at times but the impact that it has on the song overall is awesome. When You Can is the album’s concluding tune, and what a way to end. With some delightful keyboard and Slim’s excellent pedal steel hitting the spot again, this is a song that rightly showcases them all as leading players in their chosen field which, when combined, create songs of such beauty and delightfulness. With substantial experience running through their veins, the quality level in these songs is evident for all to hear. This is one band to put in your diary to catch live. RH

Lorna Flowers started songwriting (mainly rock and pop) at a young age and played in bands and at open mics etc to introduce her own songs to audiences. In 1993, Lorna had won the Hastings Songwriters' Contest with a rock song - "Everything To Me" - and she was a finalist again in 1994 with pop song "Every Beat Of My Foolish Heart". However, in 1991, a trip to the United States had led to the discovery of Country music and Lorna was now writing in this genre also. The two songs which Lorna kept hearing during that 1991 trip were Billy Dean's "Billy The Kid" and Michelle Wright's "He Would Be Sixteen". These songs led Lorna to write country songs - a venture which was rewarded in 1995 when she sent "I Dream In Black & White" to country artist Graham McHugh, then on Giant Records, Nashville. Lorna now travels to Nashville 2 or 3 times a year to write, record demos and perform at Writers' Nights. She has appeared "In The Round" at prestigious venues such as the legendary BLUEBIRD CAFE, with writers Dwight Liles and John Tirro (Feb 2000), Ralph Murphy and Bobby Wood (Oct 2001) and Ryan Michaels, Shelley Jacobson and Ryan Robertson (Feb 2003) as well as DOUGLAS CORNER, BROKEN SPOKE, BOARDWALK, EXIT IN, DAVIS-KIDD and others.Major publishing houses in both Europe and the USA have now signed some of Lorna's songs and several are currently with artists for recording.

Karen Gilmore -It all began in 1994, and following countless auditions trying to find the right band. I finally joined Blues 'n' Graized, a five piece blues band comprising of Steve Cosgrove (Willie Brown's Rhythm Method),Keith Rushton, Nigel Smith and Wayne Meakin (now the drummer with The Stoned Angels). We were a covers band performing songs from Clapton to Little Walter and throughout our six years of working together, we all had the best time after which I was well and truly hooked on music.  I realised at this point that I wanted to become a solo artiste and get the best of both worlds.  Solo work gave me the opportunity to meet people from all over the country and to perform to a variety of different audiences from as few as 50 people to 1000 plus - this experience cannot be put into words - life on the road has its up and downs, but leaves you with the satisfaction that you can entertain, which is a true gift!   My singing tutor once told me  to never stop striving to reach your best, and that you can always improve - that way, you will stay on top of your game and always be aware of your strengths and weaknesses.

I feel I will always be singing, both solo and in a band as this gives me the immense satisfaction of knowing that I can collaborate and work with musicians and also be a free spirit and perform on my own, the two together make me who I am as a singer and musician.

The Hayley Oliver Band
Over the past few years Hayley has regularly performed with various Artists and Bands. A chance meeting with Lee Ellis at Buds Country Music Store 5 years ago lead to the idea of Hayley forming her own band.

They first came together in February 2009 and began to rehearse for their first gig at the Viking Rooms and the 18th April 2009. They were warmly received by the crowd and the decision was to ultimately continue with the live performances and to record their first album "Naturally" with Hayley.

Hayley needed to showcase her talents on the live circuit, and with two albums in the can, the award winning "Two Hearts" and "I Can Still Dream", she needed a way to get the music across to her wide and varied audience. "Naturally" marks the first, of hopefully many, recordings together.

The Hayley Oliver Band from Britain have slid into the number 1 position on the Hotdisc charts this week to make it three chart toppers out of three releases for the band who have now become the most successful British act ever to appear on Hotdisc. No other UK act has managed three number ones in the main Top 40. It's an incredible achievement for the singer who has only really been on the scene for just over a year with her band.

Steve Hanks material ranges from Hanks Williams to the Mavericks, and is played in an up to date style but with a traditional feel which makes him popular with dancers and listeners alike,
" I had avoided doing my own material until recently when I was asked to write a song for a Film called Among Giants, The song “Why” wasn’t used in the film for copyright reasons but the response I got from playing the song live has prompted me into writing more “Another sunny day” & "Friends Are" being the latest, with more in the pipeline.

Hargreaves is a four piece band that plays Blues, plus a little Jazz and a bit of (decent) Country. Hargreaves is about simple music played (hopefully) well, but not necessarily as people expect it. We’re not aiming to top the charts or make a fortune, but we like to get out and play regularly, enjoy the music we make, and play to people that like what they hear from us.

Highway Dave & The Varmints Born and raised in The Black Country in the Industrial Heartland of England in the 1950s, Dave got his first guitar for his 7th birthday, by which time The Beatles and The Stones were well underway. The new music was not welcomed into the Vale household, regular entertainment and early influences being provided by the small collection of Johnny Cash and early Elvis Presley records.
Working with long-time friend, percussionist Tim Robbins (SAM, ManianaRama), he was surprised to be contacted by Mick South after more than 20 years, These three quickly recruited the rock solidest rhythm section known to alt.country, in the form of Chris Brown on bass and Al Cormell on drums. Hey presto! The Varmints!
Having been reunited with Mick after so many years, Dave thought it would be a nice idea if some of his other old friends could feature on the album, so he set about contacting John 'Speedy' Haddock and Mark Stuart who was running Mad Hat Recording Studios Both very busy guys, but none the less they both agreed to take part.
The icing on the cake was supplied by guests Pete Arnold with his banjo, Jeff Homer's fabulous harmonica playing and two of the Bushburys finest - Buzby Bywater and his Big Bull Fiddle and Lucy Collinge-Hill, who not only provides her usual wonderful fiddle playing, but also duets with Dave on the last track.

Kay'D - Redneck Rodeo
Although Kayleigh has been singing since the age of five, It has only been in the last few years that her interest in Country Music has increased, after viewing The Judds ‘Love Can Build a Bridge', she was transfixed on the true passion in country music and the true meaning it has to people's lives. She made the decision there and then that country was right for her, to not only reflect on her life and the importance of those around to support her, but most of all to express her feelings and        share this with country fans and other country artists. With large influences from the likes of Gretchen Wilson, Lorrie Morgan and Billie Jo Spears, Kay'D' tries to entertain those country fans with their favourite aspect of country.

Last year she performed at many country music festivals around the UK to increase her profile and get the opportunity to sing to larger audiences, this proved to be successful as Kay'D has been rebooked at a selection of these festivals along with enquiries from many other organisers and agents. She has already performed on stage with Henry Smith and Country Company and shared the stage with many other top names of the CMC circuit, including the Diesel Cowboys, The Smokey Mountain Boys and Tony Goodacre.

For the majority of his musical career, Lance Merlin has been playing in a dutch country/rock band called  TREND. These guys were well known in the country scene and renowned for their excellent harmony singing. They never would shy away from taking on songs that were done by, for instance, The Eagles......and the way they arranged the musical and the harmony parts, were always very high praised.
Lance has been a member of  TREND  till spring 2008, when he decided to leave The Netherlands and move to Great-Britain. While doing a normal daytime job as a forklift driver, Lance has been trying to gather musicians around him, to form a new countryband, which obviously wasn't as easy as it looked at first hand.
After attending a performance of CarollAnnB in Crewe, he knew then and there that he would be able to do performances by himself, playing the guitar and sing, with the help of backing tracks.
Repertoire from Alan Jackson,George Strait, Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, and everything upto The Eagles are in his repertoire. And if asked, he is able to do a few of the oldies as well like Buck Owens, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard and Waylon and Willie.

Bob Morgan was born in Birkenhead but, in his early childhood, moved to Wallasey, where he still lives.

Around the age of 15 a school friend invited Bob along to listen in at a rehearsal with his band. During the practice the singer’s microphone broke down and he went off to get a replacement. In his absence Bob’s friend repaired the original microphone and, whilst awaiting the singer’s return, Bob was invited to have a go at a couple of songs. As the singer, on his way back, neared the house he heard Bob and fearing that the band was trying to replace him, stormed off in a huff never to return! A new career was born there and then!
This schoolboy band would practice at Bob’s house and store their equipment there. Not one to miss an opportunity, Bob began to learn to play the drums alongside his other interest in the guitar, in time, becoming accomplished with both instruments in addition to singing.
Over the years Bob has played in various “pop/60s/rock & roll” bands such as “The Mersey Specials” and “Chunky” as well as “depping” with many other “Merseybeat” outfits. Allied to this have been spells with a comedy/cabaret group (Past & Present), front man for a well known North West country rock band, “Charlie Boy” (later to become “Steelin’ Time”) and “Gazzmatazz” – a blues/jazz/soul combo. In addition to music, Bob also performed in pantomime throughout the 80’s invariably cast as the villain apart from 2 memorable occasions as dame (without the beard!).

Bob had always liked country music but it was whilst touring US army/air force bases in Germany and Turkey in the late 60s/early 70s that he was introduced to “the real stuff” by the US servicemen and eventually, a few years ago, began to perform country music with a long time guitarist friend who convinced him that he should have been doing it 30 years earlier!! The duo was the “Country Gentlemen” and when his colleague moved on to other projects Bob found that he was a fully professional solo act almost by default! This might have been the end of Bob’s development until he found himself meeting the same chap at club after club and being hounded into “joining our band”!! The band turned out to be the remnants of the former award winning group “Western Union” and they reformed with Bob as front man – they are now known as “Bob Morgan’s Western Reunion” and Bob fits in the odd job with them as and when solo commitments allow.

A big fan of the more “traditional” style of country music Bob’s act features songs from the likes of Alan Jackson, George Strait, Brooks & Dunn along with a nod to George Jones/Merle Haggard/Charlie Pride and Hank Williams.
