Country Cattin' was formed about 1999 with original members Dave Brown - Vocals/Rhythm Guitar, Paul Chambers - Double Bass, Nathan Young - Lead Guitar
Dave has always had a passion for the pure clean foot tapping sound of Country Rockabilly. The early Elvis, Johnny Cash, Johnny Horton, Buddy Holly, Hank Snow, Hank Williams to name just a few, he also loved the sound of a Double bass, when it's slapped it can replace the sound of a drum, so a project was born to recreate that type of sound. Dave's other passion is song writing which is why he loves country music because of the story telling within the songs. So he tries to combine these with Country Cattin'.
When you see Country Cattin' you'll see a band that really enjoy what there doing, they all have a passion for the music and love performing, giving covers there own style and filling in with a lot of self-written material. So check them out when you can, you won't be dissapointed. |

Jim Condie Although he first picked up a guitar at the age of 14, Jim didn't really decide to take himself seriously until the age of 29. He thought his big break had come when, in '81, two weeks after his 30th birthday, he got a gig backing Lena Zavaroni and Hercules the Bear. At this time, he formed a 'jazz fusion' group, Solaris , with one Peter-John Vettese , who since went on to play with and produce many of the biggest names in Rock and Pop music. McCartney, the Bee Gees, Cher and Foreigner spring to mind. Jim later stepped into a duo with Edinburgh legend Tam White. Between them, they built up a ten-piece Rhythm 'n' Blues band, The Dexters. The band was a hotbed of Scottish jazz talent. In '93, Jim proceeded to rise as a Phoenix from the ashes of the Rootsies Duo, this time as sideman/ agent, importing American and Canadian performers, booking and arranging their tours and providing the musical backing into the bargain
Since the beginning of 2002, a dramatic career redirection has taken place for Jim. He intends to start promoting his own career and his new CD 'Distant Cousins'.His solo career has also done quite well in the past year, and the next few months are looking pretty busy, especially in the South of England, where promoters are inclined to give him a bit more respect. |

I used to have my own band "Wildwood" and had the good fortune to work with a Mr. Kit Morgan, in my opinion one of the best guitar players in the world. Did some recording in between with Jeannie Sinclair and Stateside plus numerous Jed Ford concerts and festivals, working with artists like Dave Dudley, Stonewall Jackson, Ferlin Husky and Bobby Bare. I have had the good fortune to work with so many excellent bands - such as Chapperal, Nichols and Dimes, Kentucky Gold, Pinkertons Colours and Jon Derricks Country Fever to name just a few. Natalie Diamond is one of five daughters born in Burton on Trent, but due to her Father's Naval career she found herself living in many parts of the UK. Growing up she showed keen interests in gymnastics and music. Her musical ability gained her a much prized position as violinist with The Gosport Orchestra but her real love was in country music. In her 20's, Natalie emigrated to Canada where she began to do something about her other passion which is song writing. She wrote for two Canadian bands and her music was well received by their audiences.
Since settling back in England she has made real headway on the country circuit, performing mostly around the Midlands area, but now beginning to spread her wings further a field . The response from the UK circuit has been far in excess of her wildest dreams and they really seem to have taken her to their heart with “standing ovations” a regular occurrence. She now plays guitar in the show and is currently working hard to introduce the fiddle to some of her songs. Her dress on stage is impeccable spending what ever it takes to look the part ..and she does !
Her main influences have been Lorrie Morgan, Reba and Tanya Tucker and performs some of their songs in her show with the same vigour and passion of a true professional.
At present, Natalie has four album releases and is presently working on a new one, of all original songs, that is due for release late 2005. |

| Rusty Douche Stalwart is the word often used, it is another way of saying he has been in the business a long time. Well Rusty Douch has been in the business a long time, so he must be a stalwart. Starting in the sixties in pop music and recording six singles, three with Polydor Records and three with EMI Records and singing on the same bill with bands such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who and backing Roy Orbison, to name just a few, but always with a preference for country music, having listened to the likes of Hank Williams, Hank Snow, Buck Owens and many more from that era. | Lorna Flowers started songwriting (mainly rock and pop) at a young age and played in bands and at open mics etc to introduce her own songs to audiences. In 1993, Lorna had won the Hastings Songwriters' Contest with a rock song - "Everything To Me" - and she was a finalist again in 1994 with pop song "Every Beat Of My Foolish Heart". However, in 1991, a trip to the United States had led to the discovery of Country music and Lorna was now writing in this genre also. The two songs which Lorna kept hearing during that 1991 trip were Billy Dean's "Billy The Kid" and Michelle Wright's "He Would Be Sixteen". These songs led Lorna to write country songs - a venture which was rewarded in 1995 when she sent "I Dream In Black & White" to country artist Graham McHugh, then on Giant Records, Nashville. Lorna now travels to Nashville 2 or 3 times a year to write, record demos and perform at Writers' Nights.
